# Outlook

> Connect Outlook to Vivacity - read and draft customer email.

<Info>
  **Category:** Email & SMS · **Access:** read-only at setup · **Actions:** drafted for your approval
</Info>

Connect **Outlook** so Vivacity can see your messaging tools and help you act on it. Your data stays **read-only** while Vivacity learns. Anything it suggests is **drafted for you to approve** - it never sends or changes anything in Outlook without your sign-off.

## What Vivacity does with Outlook

* Read campaign and flow performance.
* Draft replies and follow-ups in your voice.
* Never send without your explicit approval.

## What syncs

Vivacity reads the following from Outlook (read-only):

* Read customer email threads (read-only)
* Draft replies in your voice - never sent without your approval

<Note>Vivacity only ever **reads** the data you connect. It does not write back to Outlook unless you explicitly approve an action.</Note>
